It has taken me far longer than I'd intended (something about the 'best-laid plans blah blah blah' seems appropriate here), I am delighted to announce that I have moved to a newsletter platform called Beehiiv and given my site a new name. Betrayed Wives Club has been reimagined as The Lighthouse.
I chose The Lighthouse for a number of reasons. For one thing, I can well remember my fear around someone (my kids? Friends? Some boogieman?) discovering any of the books, web sites, or other online support I was seeking that had any reference to betrayal or infidelity or cheating. So ... if that's you, having The Lighthouse land in your inbox or search history likely seems a lot more innocuous than Betrayed Wives Club. Maybe you've taken up maritime history, right?
For another, over the years of writing about betrayal, I realized that so much of what we learn in the wake of a partner's infidelity is really just lessons that help us navigate any of the stuff life throws our way. A lighthouse draws all of us in, whether you're trying to survive infidelity, or addiction, or mental health crises or, like me, all of the above.
I hope you'll join me over there. It's very much a work in progress. For now, it's free for everyone and I will always ensure that some content remains free. But I will, with time, be adding various subscriber tiers — my aim includes online meet-ups, Zoom meetings, expert support — all to help us form a community.
