There's different levels of strength.
ReplyDeleteSo many people said to me when the ex first left "you're strong, you've got this"
Those few words would really annoy me back then!
For me, it was..."got what?"
(I really think people just say things for the sake of saying something..without thinking!)
I don't feel strong as I just go about the daily routine of life.
Maybe the strength I have is that I have been faithful and loyal in my marriage, and always, but especially now, committed to being here for my kids, unlike the ex who could just destroy our family and walk away so easily.
Maybe the strength for us women who have been left by our cheating husbands, is the ability to function and go off to work each day when we just want to lay down sometimes and crumble in a heap.
I need to build up more strength so I can thrive and not just function. Got to get my mind, my confidence, back to that mind gym.
Hugs

Transform all our sadness, anger, disappointment into energy which make each and everyone of us become stronger.Used this energy to do something that help us become a better version of us-example: hit to the gym, learn up some new skill, read some book etc.
